Meet the Inspector

Since 2002, Dale Weaver, the founder and principal of Dreamweaver Home Inspections, has been helping homeowners throughout the greater New England area with one of the most emotional decisions and one of the largest financial investments that they will ever make.

 

Clients often ask how I got into the home inspection business. After five years in the U.S. Air Force, where I worked writing construction contracts (building roads, a school, and laying water pipe lines), I did project management for commercial construction companies. Wanting hands-on experience, I became a maintenance engineer for commercial and residential buildings (including Harbor Towers in Boston and other high-rises in the financial district) and was responsible for heating, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance (painting, wallpapering, light carpentry).

I have been in the home inspection business since 2002. I have extensive experience across all types and phases of construction from construction management to operating a handy man service. I provide residential (single and multi-family) and commercial home inspections. I am thorough, honest, and have the ability and willingness to treat the home inspection as an introduction to your new house. I know large commercial and residential systems inside and out, and I go the extra mile.
